MrMurasaki: Archael with Elle in his arms glided across the stone walkway to the garden, his cane guiding his way in his other hand. "Ah it has been a time and your roses still so beautiful and inspiring." As they arrived in the Pavilion he unclasped his arms and bowed once again before her. He planted his cane into the ground with a snap and a plume of purple smoke around his hand he formed a Purple rose. "After all, they do inspire this illusion with a subtle change." a chuckle followed his painted smirk before waving his other hand over it making it vanish. "We are here to discuss business not pleasure, forgive me. You are quite busy I assume and I am about to embark on a voyage of my own. you see, I found some very interesting information on a mutual interest sort of speak. "passion burned in his fiery eyes that were embroidered with his charred black scars, seeming to smolder in his words. He clasped her hand and placed it to his burning lips kissing it softly. "My most prized interest, I have found him." His eyes looking up to hers from her hand.
Esylana: Her eyebrow raised, and she tilted her head, a smile playing across those lovely lips of hers. "Oh? Do tell, I think I know you're speaking of, but remind me. I have been busy..." She scowled slightly, noting a messenger starting to approach. At her look, however, the young lad paused, swallowed, and (wisely) backed up the way he'd come. He would present his news to her a bit later. She brought Archael with her through the garden to a rather small hedge maze, not too difficult, but trimmed immaculately, and spanning about a half a mile in length. The scent of the roses clung to the air, even here, as they gave away to green trimmings of all shapes and sizes, rising up between the rows here and there. A favorite entertainment, when the Empress had time to be entertained.
MrMurasaki: He stroked his thin goatee that rested beneath his pale porcelain skin, his eyes looking intently on her. both hands resting on the jeweled handle of his cane a ring of Purple Stone accented the circular runic symbols on his silken gloves. "I arrived here to find your Champion Draxis had lead an act of Brutality that forecasted you my Dear as some savage. So I did all I could do when detecting and locating any criminal." he moved to her side now following her gaze. "It was difficult at first. Where could the Fallen Draxis go? He had nothing before the Pit, you found him as a beaten and tortured husk of a Man. He could go anywhere especially with the large sum of your coin he took with him. 1300 Gold pieces, my numbers are never wrong and this is a very interesting number and quite a defecit. Adding to his crime. Yet how could I track his steps?" he let out a chuckle and lifted his hand as if he attained ultimate enlightenment. "My dear it was from but a page, this page." he pulled a blank page from his coat, no ink except some little blots scattered through it. Upon closer inspection there were indents in the paper. "My most ravishing Empress, from the page beneath his letter I found where he is."
Esylana: She leaned in closer to examine the page herself, pursing her lips as she examined it carefully. "Hmm...allow me to guess, if I may? This stationary is...found in very few places?" She may not necessarily have been a detective herself, but she did enjoy a nice puzzle, and as much time as this might be "wasting", she was still intrigued. This man was an entertainment, as well as an asset, in maintaining control and peace in the southern Barukin Isles. She gazed up at him with her blue eyes, piercingly curious as she waited for his response to her inquiry. Almost as if he were a mystery novel, and she were quite engaged in the tale.
MrMurasaki: He twirled his cane before resting it to his shoulder tapping. "My fair Lady, he has exiled himself to the North, he confessed his crimes and spoke ill will on us." he coughed and put his hand to his mouth."Ahem, you my Empress." he bowed forward slightly lifting his hat then returning it to his head. He waved his hand out and to the side of him his palm facing to the sky. "If you wish of me Fair Lady upon my departure of Barukin I can go investigate the North. Ohhh speaking of..." he snicker chuckled stroking his thin goatee. "Do you wish to know of some talk in the S.A.C? I feel you will be most pleased my greatest Excellency." He flowed his gloved hand over her face and pulling his fingers ito a point he conjured a red rose which he held to her. "The business is booming."
MrMurasaki: Getting caught up in himself he stopped abruptly and bowed his head. "Forgive me Empress, I often get carried away in my obsessions. The Stationary you ask it is mere parchment but to a keen eye or pair if you will. A passionate, obsessive, burning pair of eyes scanning every little detail every stroke, dot and crease. I read it as if the ink were before me and now before you." He held his hand beside it and snapped, the purple plume caused ink to write before her eyes telling of his deceit and exile.
Esylana: Her eyes lit up as the parchment also lit up, with ink appearing upon it as if, well, by magic. She reached out to take the letter into her own hands, to read it for herself as she paced past him and into the hedge garden. She expected him to follow along, even as she said, "Do go on, with your gossip from the S.A.C. I am always curious as to what they hear about, among the world in general." She smirked faintly, pausing to glance back at him.
MrMurasaki: "I am touched you asked M'Lady but while we are in private we truly are not. Please excuse my effrontery." He stood in front of her stopping her pace. He lifted his hand above them, his wrist bent and fingers pointed together as if he were holding a tall zipper. With a loud snap he lowered his arm and knelt down around her as if he were sealing them in and they were. While it was quiet near the hedge now it was eerily silent, you felt the wind but could not hear it. The smell of the roses faded, no smell nothing just closed behind the curtain. He stood before her. " Forgive such muffled means but this is most private. The Clan has almost completely dominated Barukin, after the disgusting defection of Lyle and some traitors I took the reigns as you now. Barukin is near completion but there is one concern... Not sure if you would know of her. She is often spoken in whispers in Barukin. The locals keep her hushed and such shallow waters and dense thicket makes my Serene unable to cope. Barely a single maned boat could make it to her." He tapped his foot. "She is most daunting, her inspiration if you will makes the local militia vexing at most." a deep smirk painted his pale face. "None other stand to the Shadow Alley Clan in Barukin and we are ready to take over any other points of interest you may have your Excellency. I can't wait until I crack the seal on that Labyrinth. I am so close I can taste it."
Esylana: The Empress was not necessarily used to this sort of magic, but none the less, she didn't seem to mind it. She understood the need for more sensitive topics, the way the air compressed and filtered exactly what he wanted for her to hear and her alone. And as she listened to his report, she nodded, slowly seeming to drift in interest - yes, Barukin, under his control, very good, and Lyle is gone, she'd briefly heard of him, but...then he mentioned a "her". And she turned to gaze at him, her interest returned. "Go on...who is this -she- you are mentioning? Does she have a name?"
MrMurasaki: "I have yet to entice her with conversation My Empress but to the Locals she is known as the Oracle. They say she lives alone deep deep in the Swamp of Barukin. She has become a thorn in our side." He sneered in disgust at her mention. His gaze befell the messanger and then looked to the Empress in her final words of their private conversation he would snap and the veil dispersed filtering sounds and smells back to them. "My Empress, there has been a most patient messenger waiting to speak. If you are satisfied with my debrief then please don't let me hold you up." he motioned his hand forward bowing his head.
Esylana: The Oracle. She hadn't heard of this woman. Not beyond a whisper here and there from her own ever-vigilant spies. A woman of intrigue, -somehow-, she managed to show up at a moment's notice, giving advice to those who particularly needed it, before vanishing without a second whisper or thought. If she didn't know for a fact that it wasn't true, she'd have suspected some powerful magic indeed. But only Elle and her Court had that access. So who was this woman, and how did she do it? She was annoyed that the conversation had ended there, but she dismissed him with a wave of her hand. "Thank you, Archael." She then turned and attended to the messenger - he wasn't going to be having a pleasant evening.
MrMurasaki: He stood tall before her his cane planted in the ground, his legs crossed before him. He bowed his body forward, an arm draped over his stomach and the rim of his tall hat clenched in his extended hand. He arose and put the hat to his head and grabbed his cane. "Always a pleasure my Fair Lady. I am sorry to cut the topic short. I am pressed for time, I need to get to Barukin before heading to the North. Next time we speak I hope to tell you more. Be well Elle." with a snap of his fingers he was swirled in a plume of purple smoke, upon its dispersion he had vanished.
