MrMurasaki : Zenshi leaned against the cold stone wall, his eye looked to the side to his... distant Princess sitting under the Torch light, Lythia snuggled in her arms, a bundle of Crimson wrapping her. Zenshi sighed in his shadows, over time inch by inch he crept. His visage that was covered by the shadows slowly and creepingly came into view until he was almost touching her. "Zenra... Princess don't excuse my willingness to aid Lorian as a reflection of my true self... You will come to learn why in the whispers I have become the Betrayer. It is a name that has stuck since my Betrayal of the Clan I was took into on me pursuit for you..." His head hung his silver hair flowing forward. He rolled his shoulders unfurling his sleeveless coat from him, as it cascaded down his body more of his skin was revealed. Scars from blades covered his body, subtle in his Black skin but in this light, to observant eyes it could be noticed however the Dark Magick Burn marks in him were much more noticeable. Seemingly radiating a purple hue these covered his body and showed as a reminder to him of his secret past as a child. He took the coat in his hands and held it out to her. "I never wished to upset you my Princess, I only had to ensure they saw me as a loyal Mutt I am." a single tear streaked his cheek falling from his misty fixated white orb upon her, the reed vibrating in his mouth. "Take my Coat, I do not proclaim you need it but this stone is cold and my Princess has always stayed to her miniature grace so the length will be more than accommodating I assure you." As he awaited her to take it upon her taking it he would go to slink back into his shadows, a shame befalling him.
VampyrVixen: Zenra didn't wish to sit upon the mud-covered ground, nor the grimy dirty mats covering in straw that has flattened over time; they past off this off as bedding for her and the other prisoners. Bundled up in the Scarlet warmth that Lorian had gifted to her was Lythia for her protection and care was needed more than her own, but as the night grew thick she found the cold creeping up upon her body scantily clad in the rhinestones that were force upon her purple hued skin. As he approached her, He could clearly see the dark indents that cover the visage of her back. So many cuts from years of abuse, of torture adorned her like a grotesque painting that the artist made sure she would continue to wear even as the painting aged. They were out in the open for all to see. He may have thought she didn't see him as she turned with Lythia in her arms resting upon her shoulder. Her eyes are softened, as if she was simply trying to relax with everything going on. "If you are this betrayer that you say you've gained a name for, does that me you shall betray me too? It's something I've become quite use to if I am to be honest." Even if it feels like a jab at him, it's clear it was intended to be as she grits her teeth. She looks away from him, her lips purse. "It just seems like my life keep getting more and more complicated." Her words were no longer like that of a razor, she was no more than a wall that was soon to crumble. "Either way, I cannot betray him. I simply can't. I have done it but once in my lifetime and it has only made things worse for me... and I have a daughter to protect. He offered housing her... I can't pass up her safety. The longer she stays here, the closer she is to death and I cannot allow that to happen. I can't follow the same path even if we both walk in the shadows... Zenzen." She meets his gaze. Her eyes the same as the night she begged him to knock off the fireworks as the villagers soon became heavily suspicious as to who was doing it. The same look of a scared child that didn't want to lose her friend. Her hand brushed body as it shivered due to the night's cold grasp kissing upon her. Her finger tips brushed against the scars that hugs her lower stomach and abdomen. She also her diaphragm to inhale, and exhale gently. "You didn't upset me... I just, I didn't know what to do, Zenshi. I felt pinned in this cell." She soon saw him hold out his jacket to her as her hands attempted to conserve any body heat it could. Her finger tips soon grasped upon the fabric, and she gently take it from him. She was soon surprised as he attempted to walk off. Her small nimble tips constricted his wrist, "You're going to make a short joke and then walk off? Maybe I should say Boom Boom and do the same." She gave him a sly smirk, not allowing him to move any further into the darkness.
MrMurasaki: At her words his visage, his being seemed to shatter. In a heavy thud he fell to his knees resting his head on her knee. "Princess, you are the only one I could never betray... You and your beautiful daughter." Embracing her leg lovingly he stood before her once again, he gently rubbed the exposed hair of Lythia lovingly and tenderly. "I want what is best for her, we have our paths to walk now... They will eventually know of my Betrayal but it will be my own and I will take the full force. That is what I must do, if Castallan can provide a better life for her.. for you then I won't stand in your way... I found out you were safe and able to Survive you don't need me at your side... " his words stricken with pain as he forced them. He rested his forehead on hers his eye gazing deep into hers. "Princess, we are inseparable and though we walk this Path side by side it is unforeseen if it will ever be joined but as I live no harm will fall you her precious Lythia if I have any say. I will put Lorians head on a spike before all of Rembrant if he is to over step his place. You have been scarred by the hands of too many men to let such a power hungry man be the next. I am bound now as an Assassin, I could not give the attention beloved Lythia needs and it destroys me in here. " he put his hand to his heart then placed his hand on hers. "In the shadows of Betrayal I weave, you or Lythia shall never receive. such is my oath to the both of you..." he shook off and wiped away his misty eye walking passed them and looking to the locked door. "So Princess, any ideas how to get out of here?" he stood with his hands on his hips, a long deep scar ran his back cutting through the burn symbols on his back. His foot tapped as did his fingers nestled in his crossed arms, the reed in his mouth twirling in his thoughts.
VampyrVixen: She glances her silver sparkling eyes to the Drow that now laid his chin upon her knees and lush thighs. She felt her skin fluster out of embarrassment as she chewed upon the bottom of her plump lips. She ran a taloned hand through his soft silky hair. She brought a smile to her lips. "I wouldn't think you ever would intentionally, Zenzen. My daughter is so young and innocent... All I've tried to do is keep her from the darkness that my life has inevitably been consumed by. I want her to live happily, to be a child..." She glanced over to the sleeping Lythia. "I don't remember her sleeping this much when we still had a home and she use to hunt with me.... But I fell back into my ways, before I ruled Golgotha, to provide for her... Selling wolves hide can only do so much... Killing had more money in it... But I never meant her to experience it this early in her life or rather be doing it herself. I want her to have the life my father wished to give me back in our village. Calm and serene..." It was hard for her to fight back tears as their foreheads met each, the softness of the fabric against her skin lowered some tension that raged in her head. "Even if It isn't what is best, I live for her now and I must do what protects her. Castallan said he would care for her, and I assume I will be able to see her at least. It will be what is best. Either way, I can't go back on my word. My blade and seductive words now work for his intentions as well as my own... but..." Her eyes filled with ferocity, and her face twisted with primal wrath. "I wish to one day reclaim my kingdom.. and this time I will bring the values of our people into place. I will rule even if I re-marry, and my decisions will be carried over his. Maybe.. Lorian may be a key to doing just that, but I must be upfront with him and speak to him. I can't sneak around about it any longer, especially when he knows. If I can do this, Will you come to my side as my personal watcher?... Maybe it is to early to say, but as you said we are inseparable and our fate seem to be intertwining more than we both thought possible... No do not worry of it now. But One day, I will be queen once more." She whispers, and even so she says this with determination. "As for removing ourselves..." She pulls out a bobbypin from her massive wavy locks, making pained facing as she pulls it out. "I felt I didn't get them all out... but I still have a few more than this." She would crouch down, sticking her hands through the bars of the cell, but then looking to him and folding her hands up so that the guards don't see the pin. "Do you have a plan after I pick this or?"
MrMurasaki: He motioned forward, he gripped her hand and pushed the door open with her. "It will be silent... They will Live... Do not let her see...." He was crouched beside her and launching forward coiling his body, he was swirled by shadows, as he bounced between the candle light his eyes looking for an escape. Two guards remained, easy he though to himself. The shadows coiled to the first, in the dispersement Zenshi became visible once more. His arm draped over the neck of the now unconscious guard, a knockout strike delivered with the length of his arm to the neck and chest of the man. His eye met Zenras, as soon as they together sparkled he had vanished into the coiled shadows again. Traveling to the second, in the dispersal his hands gripped the mans collar holding him up before he drove his elbow into the helmet, caving it in and knocking him out. He opened his hands and let the body drop before he casually walked over to Zenra the reed dancing around his mouth. He leaned one hand on the cage and used the other to open the door the rest of the way. "I hate being in his presence, I loathe what he stands for but if you desire me to be at your side Princess, I will do so with honour. I truly Love You Zenra and the most pristine Lythia, come let's get you both out of here." he motioned his thumb over his shoulder as he turned to the exit, in his steps he heard a faint whisper from the shadows. "Wait..."
VampyrVixen: She admired his handy work and how he moved into the shadows so easily, so smoothly. How the shadows wrapped around his body in it's cold lovely embrace. The darkness merging with him so tenderly, It reminded her of the first time her mother tried to call upon her and allow her to willingly use her avatar. The frigid breath of words from the living the souls flowed through her, she pursed her lips now meeting Zenshi's eyes. She shouldn't use such power unless it is necessary. She covered the child's eyes and head from any damage as she followed the Drow. She met his gaze with furrowed brows, bringing a clawed finger to his forehead, and flicks him. "Well.... It's not about him. I know I could do it without him in the picture but since the resources are there I may as well use them you know? But I would do it in a way to where he knows my intentions. He knows why I'm doing it so that he can be an ally later on. I tend to make friends on the fleet as well, I need allies right now and power ones at that." She looks at him, a sweet curl of her lips form. She grasps the bars of the cell lifting herself up, to follow him out of the arena before he soon stopped. "Zenzen we can't exactly stop... Wait what..." She stops to listen around her.
MrMurasaki: His eye befell a shadow beside him, it seemed to cover a Cage barely big enough for a hound. the slight visual of dim red eyes could be seen in the residual torchlight across the room, large black sausage fingers wrapped the cage. "Zenshi... It can't be..." Zenshi didn't gaze to him but his voice cut deep. "Malgus..." He moved to the cage looking it over before he lifted his foot and brought it down in a quick snapping the lock that clasped the door. The force swung it open and the Old Mardune fell to the ground weak in his state, bloodied and beaten. His white mane and Beard stained with the dirt, grime and blood of his holding. Zenshi lowered to his side holding him. "Malgus... I thought you were dead... Thelgen never gave up but..." He draped his arms over Malgus following the boulder like embrace of the Dwarves arms. "I can't explain it, this came in a Dream but Zenshi. We must get to the Arena..." Zenshi helped the weakened Dwarf to his feet and he raced to Zenras side. "I will do as you command, be where you need me to be, we must escape." A sense or urgency in his eye as he looked to the exit. "Princess excuse me this is..." Malgus reached forward his large hands held on of hers. "Zenra, Princess of Golgotha... Queen to be. How did you find your way into this pit?" his deep red eyes gazed into hers, his voice deep. He shook his head. "Now is not the time, we must go. Quickly." A pep in his step he lead the way, his dusty vegetable sack clothes dragging in his pursuit. Zenshi smiled over to Zenra watching his hurry. "Well Princess, Ahem Queen?" he tilted his head smiling. "shall we?" he motioned his hand forward to the now open door that Malgus just passed through and left sight.
VampyrVixenVampyrVixen : Zenra didn’t know, no, she couldn’t know who this man actually was as weird as that may seem. In her 300 years, she had barely met many dwarves, let alone any Mardune, and so she made sure to show some level of respect. With a small yawn, Lythia soon would start to wiggle in her mother's arms whether the position was in. “Please Lythia… now is not the time to be difficult…” She whispered silently, even as their noise started to make way through the arena’s bloodworks. The small pup gave a muffled whimper in her arms, grumbling as she spoke. She knew the little one wouldn’t know what was going on nor how to handle it. She kept the child’s face in her shoulder, not allowing the small one to see anything more grotesque. She could see the sleepy eyed slaves in their cell take noticed of them, and some started to call out of their attention. She gulped at their gawking eyes, barely even hearing Zenshi’s voice; She didn’t wish to stay any longer than she needed to. She turns back as the old Mardune grasps upon her open nimble hand within his own large ones. “I’m surprised you know of me, old one, for my lands to believe I lie cold after my disappearance. You may have known my father, before Golgotha even knew he had a child… Before-” Quickly after this she nodded to him, now wasn’t the time to get distracted. Zenra would move her form as much as she could being the height she was with a child that is much heavier than one would expect. “What do you even eat here?” She jokingly whispered to Lythia to keep her entertained and a little more comfortable given the circumstances. Lythia would reply with a sweet subtle giggle under the crimson wrapping. “Yes, Let’s…” She looked back to the other slaves that stared at her, seeing the sadness in their eyes. She so wished to free them, the mothers and the children, but she knew she couldn’t help behind bars and so she quickly followed behind Zenshi.
MrMurasaki: Malgus kept her attention and meanwhile weaving through the shadows was Zenshi except for the moment Zenra would look over to him in which he would be walking beside and slightly behind them. The faintest clicks could be heard as Zenra and Malgus advanced through the quarters, engaged in the conversation they were having. Zenshi all this time had been weaving through the Shadows picking all the locks, in his talks he told them he had no idea how he would get them out but they were free if they wished to make one last run. "Young Princess, your people have always been a fascination of mine and not because of my old White Beard and Black skin. You are a sacred people, I always took to young Zenshi. While he is dark in his ways his heart is incorruptible. Don't think he is some loyal lap dog, someday he will even betray me my Child. It his his nature but say for one and that is you. When we get out of this blasted place and back to Sanctuary... I have something for you. I feel you will appreciate it." His deep red eyes met Lythia and his large boulder of a hand nestled on her head, being lost in his palm as he ruffled her hair. "She is a Light, she reminds me of the beautiful Lyre at home. If you prove to be loyal to something greater than a fancy dressed Master, perhaps I shall guide you personally through the Labyrinth. " His weak smile was nearly lost in his beard as they went to leave the fighters "living area" Zenshi would walk beside them as if he never left a sly smile cracked his cheek adorned with his reed. As they left the room the creaking of opening gates wafted behind them, Zenshi stopped once more looking to a room sealed in stone and gated by a thick iron door with only a handle a lock and a viewport near the top. He scratched his chin looking to the puzzled looks of Zenra and Malgus then back to the Door. "We mustn’t leave before we get the Boom Boom and my Hat..." Malgus raised his hand with fury and an energy seemingly to have been long gone from him. "and my Hammar!!!"
VampyrVixen: "We aren't too interesting, I suppose... Neither of us are exactly the Drow people have stereotyped to be, especially the factor Lolth hasn't tempted us exactly..." She gives him a nervous smile and giggle. "Do you really think he would?" She says this genuinely, though knowing very well that he will be the one to retrieve the Sky fleet's plans and to say this one random man Zenshi saved would be far and few in between. She may not know entirely, but she has a feeling at least. "You need not give me a thing, Old one, but if one insist, I would be rude to ignore." Feeling someone touch upon her her, Lythia is soon wriggling in Zenra's arms once more and Zenra brings another had to stabilize the small bundle of energy. "I... I must do what is good for my daughter, Old one." She bites the bottom of her plump lip, heaving a heavy sigh. Her cheek rests upon Lythia's head and the white tuft of hair sticks out. She wiggles herself out of the jacket enough for to big brown eyes to look over Zenra's shoulder the dirty path that they step upon. "You guys are worried about your tools, and I'm standing her with little modesty." She said this jokingly, but she wished to cover herself more than just a simple jacket. "Grab what you must. Every second down here is a risk for the guards to see us..."
MrMurasaki: Zenshi kneeled before the lock his eye fixated on it. "Custom..." his mouth moved around a lot more than usual as if he had something stuck and desperately tried to remove it. A long silver resembling metal lockpick lowered out of his mouth into his waiting hand, he put it into the lock his eye now closed and his other hand rested on the door circling the lock. His energy focused to his hand to feel every little click and vibration, his other worked quickly yet not hasty in the pick. with a click and then a bunch of unlocking rumbles then the single finger push of Zenshi the door heavily creaked open. Zenshi stood to his feet and put the silver pick in the other side of his mouth temporarily. "Let's be quick, it won't be long before we are found out or at least the other Prisoners." He swaggered over to a corner, sitting on a table directly under torch light was his belt with all his potions and the satchel. resting on it slightly his hat. He opened his satchel and placed the pick in there before sealing it. He adorned his belt, clasping it closed and drew his hat he lifted it to his welcoming head and strapped the violet sash under his chin with a finger swipe of the hats rim he walked over to Zenra and awaited her knowing his presence. As the door had creaked open Malgus made no small steps, the energy of the Dwarf seemed unmatchable although his pace resisted and form weakened in his obvious injury. His deep red eyes scanned the room until he saw it, sticking out amongst the pile of his armour. "Nor’thzil!" He bellowed out rushing to the large table holding all of his gear, he reached out and in his boulder like hands he held to his face as if in a loving embrace his Hammer. Elementium forged and most sacred, this was no mere tool but a Soul connection they shared. In the Torchlight it seemed to have a glow about it, He threw off the sack like clothing he wore. Standing tall in his short stature his chest bared out he began to adorn his armour once more. The last thing to put on after he placed his Mage Circlet to his crown, a metal that looked exactly like Zenshis pick. He fastened to his belt by reinforced straps a Massive Tome, it serves him poorly in his Magick Deprived state but a Mardune BattleMage is never without his Tome. Nor'thzil clasped in his boulder like hand he looked over to Zenra and Zenshi. "They need a moment." he whispered to himself as he walked to the entrance to keep watch, he closed the door but a crack to see.
VampyrVixen: Zenra's eyes viewed the roomed filled with many belongings of the slaves that sat there. Clothing, armor, toys, shoes, and weaponry were all scattered about lazily as if they were simply thrown in there. She made her turns in hope to find her... hide satchel that was sitting in the corner. She soon made way crouching towards the grimy brick walls. She used her open taloned hand after adjusting the little one in her arms reaching out to the bag before her. Click went the buckle as the top flopped open. She smiled happily, seeing it's contents there. A black leather bound book engraved with gold, her journal, and a couple bits of clothing she carried with her. She made a bold decision, "Alright, Lythia, please stay near me, okay?" She placed the little one down who stumbled back a moment, sleepily rubs her eyes as torch light met her chubby face. Zenra pulls out a leather suit, gauntlets, and belts that would soon adorn her body. She felt the tip of a dagger's leather sheath, nodding gently with satisfaction. She placed Zenshi's jacket upon the wooden table as she started to slip on these skin tight leather pieces upon her legs. The corset was the hardest to do alone but she didn't wish to ask for help and waste the time. Soon grabbing her blackened bow and quiver, slipping the strings around her torso. Almost ready Lythia's eyes would dance upon a blonde hair doll wearing a fleece pink dress that sat on a shelf much higher than her and her mother. Her eyes widened with wonder, immediately disobeying her mother's wishes. She went up to Zenshi, pulling at his pant leg, before pointing to the toy that sits waiting to be held. Zenra turns with the satchel upon her, making a strong frown to Lythia for not listening to her. Not much she could do when she was dressing herself. "Sorry Zenzen..." She whispers, kneeling to the little one to comfort her shaken nature as of now but the small child soon started to sniffle.
MrMurasaki: "Do not say sorry to me Princess, I Love you and Lythia. Even when I become the shadows in the end, I will still love the both of you." He hung his head as emotion swept over his being and then seemed to just 'let it go'. He reached up to the rim of his hat, more towards the side and he without looking plucked one of the silk ribbons etched in sigils. He gripped Zenras hands closing the ribbon in her hand and gazed into her eyes. "This Oath is Love and Family... I wish you to keep it. Lorian can be a better provider but you have to know my love and dedication to the both of you. So this ribbon, my Oath of Love and Family will stay with you until you decide you want me to provide. I will..." he trailed off then released her hands and knelt back beside Lythia gazing up to Zenra. "Do as you will, I protect the both of you out of Love, not because of an Oath. It is the only shining Light this Betrayer could ever give you." with his parting words and a subtle chin rub to Lythia he picked her up in his hands smiling. He could have jumped and twisted, maybe smoked out the room to coil there no what he did was to show Zenra his unyielding Love to them both but his understanding of Zenras largest desire, Lythia. He advanced forward with her nestled at his chest, cradled in one arm. He began to crawl over the tables and over exaggerate his climbing as he made his way to the tall shelf, trying to get a laugh out of her. knelt down below the Doll he resisted as if in pain. "Lady Lythia, it is your hands that must save the Damsel!" slowly and entertainingly shakingly he raised Lythia towards the Doll. Malgus looked to the spectacle and bowed his head closing his eyes. "There you are Zenshi, there you are M'Boy." The Red eyes seemed to grow a bit misty, with a snort and a wipe from his boulder of a hand Malgus looked back to the outside and approaching Torches. "We need to go." his voice seemed to carry to the group.
VampyrVixen: Zenra didn't know what to say. Love was something so skewed to by the people that were around her. She's sure there's only two men in her life that have 'loved' her. A human with long blonde hair and gentle face. He was a healer that only wished to bring joy and love to the world. Even as he aged, Zenra didn't care. She loved him. The second was a dragonkin that she ruled Golgotha with, and created a lovely child with. Both have perished from the mortal realm. The first man who claimed he loved her forced her body into his and didn't allow a no for an answer, Mal'khar. She heaved a heavy sigh, recalling these events in her head. Being rejoined with a childhood friend was amazing, exhilarating really. She had a smile brought to cheeks, but she found it hard to find words. Love was too complicated for her. She grasped the ribbon in her hands, nodding to him as she places it in her black dyed hide bag. She eyes him as he picks up Lythia, and it warmed her heart. No, it melted it like a raging inferno that made the ice around her sweat as if became nothing but liquid upon the ground. Even so, this wasn't the time have emotions brought into play, it would only make things worse. Lythia was laughing, maybe louder than she meant to and it was sure to carry outside. The child's face beamed with enjoyment as she scooped up the doll in hear arms. She snuggled it into her as she laid in Zenshi's chest, nuzzling into him tenderly without poking him with her long ears she still needs to grow into. Zenra was smiling, but her worry carried thicker, what if someone heard Lythia? "Yes I agree, we should be going. Please keep her safe unless you wish for me to take her back."
MrMurasaki: Zenshi leaned down and placed Lythia on the ground, he walked over to the table and swung his coat through his arms and he gripped the collar giving it a flick before he walked back to Lythia and picked her up, cradling her in one arm. He looked down to her his Eye gleaming into hers. "At no point do you let go of my coat or my chains do you understand Lythia? keep yourself as close to me as you can, keep your head tucked to my chest. It may get fast and if you get dizzy you tell me." He softly smiled at her as he joined Malgus who was now shaking in his thoughts as his eyes laid on Imperial Guards. "Heathen Wench, we Mardune BattleMages have a sacred Code to harm no user of Magick. Magick is Magick and we have no authority to Judge. she corrupts that, pollutes it. Greed, destruction. severing the Ley and keeping it all to herself and her twisted council. It would be a day worthy my death if it ended with my blessed hammar caving in her heart." Zenshi rested his free hand on his shoulder. "You will see your home again Malgus." with that he tip toed through the shadows. "this calls for a keener sight..." he thought to himself, he adjusted his bandana over his other eye and the one originally beneath it resembled his other but it glowed a Purple instead of white. It scanned through the very fabric of the Shadows seemingly around corners guiding their way through the pitch black corridor leading out into the Night sky of the Arena.
VampyrVixen: Zenra sighed, At least Lythia will be safe. Even so, she wished to hold the child herself in her embrace and protect her for everything. Being exposed to such grim upon the world is not befitting of her children, but somehow they all have had to do it. Sometimes she feels like she has failed as a mother for this, for not being about to be there for her children at the worst of times and now it all resonates within her violently. No amount of the factor they are safe now will make it better to her, she can only try and do what is best for them. "Yes sir!" Lythia playfully exclaimed followed by a small giggle. She grasped his jacket tightly as if were for her life, little did she know that is exactly what it was for. She simply saw this as a game, how long she could hold on without falling, but it was better this was for at least she was listening. Zenra quickly draw an arrow from her quiver, readying her bow in the guards become an issue. The Darkness around them provided a decent cover, but how long that would last, she was unsure. She saw a few guards coming their way. Malgus was a bit far to be able to swing the hammer of his. Through the shadows she allowed the arrow to fly, piercing the air around it and slicing itself into the eye socket of one of the unhelmed guards. She smiled briefly at her handy work and continued on with the group.
MrMurasaki: His eye fixated on the remaining guards, he could have engaged but he did not. He could have unleashed his blades but he did not. He draped his hand and cloak over Lythias white shining hair and he stepped backwards into the shadows. Concealing both of them until the coast was clear. Malgus however found a spring in his step and rolled his way over to the Group, no hesitation he threw his hammer upward into the chest of the first guard. the steel buckled beneath Nor'thzil, and caved into the chest. The guard soared into the ceiling above, slamming into it and falling back to the ground his neck snapping only adding to the fractured ribcage. with a back hand swing to the other guard it was deflected by his blade, in a desperate attempt that would end to him falling to the ground Malgus shoulder checked the guard into the opening of an Arrow shot. All the action left Malgus cramped up in pain his boulder grip not faltering as Nor'thzil rested on his rapidly moving chest. Zenshi watching and hiding Lythia in his coat unclasped a jar from his belt and tossed it between the Guard and Malgus, upon smashing it released a covering fog that blinded the Guard but left him open to the keenest of arrows.
VampyrVixen: The small little Drow saw the Mardune go for the attack, watching his movements closely. She looks back to the child in Zenshi's arm, worrying only for a spilt second, but knowing if her mind is continually clouded that it will throw her off trying to match her arrows to the skulls of the guards and finished the one she started off. She was hidden by the darkness around them, and she hoped that she could get the shot easily. She needed to get out of this grimy hole that the ones of Cyranos called the Arena. No, it was a disgusting bloodbath and perfect example of the empire's cruelty towards non-humans simply for their skin, their point ear, their claws, etc. She needed to get out if she is to do anything. She attempted to draw her bow back once more, but with the various thoughts in her head she was distracted. The arrow soared passed the guard, and she grunted with a small fit of frustration. She said nothing though, no words could come to her mind. Lythia squirms a little in Zenshi's arm as she hears the attempts of fighting. She didn't know what was going on. With his hand upon her head, she couldn't move much. She started to whimper, attempting to look at him with her big brown doll eyes.
MrMurasaki: Zenshi felt Lythia struggle and his eyes watched Zenra's miss shot. He sighed "very well little one, I do as you command." he gently kissed her forehead and weaved over behind Zenra tucked in the Shadows, he placed Lythia sitting at the feet of her mom. He ruffled her hair and smiled adjusting his Bandana back over his Purple eye to its common place. "Stay as close to your Momma as you did me Lythia, that is your Mission Lythia, it is up to you to keep your Damsel safe." he patted the doll with a final smile to Lythia. He stood up beside Zenra and laid his foot on on the top edge of a nearby crate. "Princess, your Bow is excellent you are no longer distracted but please if it means staying your Bow to make sure Lythia doesn't watch please make sure you do. I cannot predict how this will go I must distract them and you must get Malgus to the Arena, as I wove I saw a familure shadow on the rise. I managed to save some Prisoners but I couldn't get them all. Provide me cover but make sure the rest of you get out, I go in not with the Shadows this time... A Monk meditation is in order." he rested his hand on her Shoulder smiling. "Princess if you hear the Boom Boom, don't come back." he sat on the crate looking up at her. "I know Lorian told you to infiltrate Sky Fleet but the ally’s you will find in the Dwarves will benefit you more than handing paper to our Master. Let me do this, I must. I am the Betrayer, keep your hands clean of this. I take this burden." he bowed to her waiting her words before he moved another muscle.
VampyrVixen: Lythia didn't really say anything, nothing could really come to the little one's mind. She was young and pure to the world, but she has been exposed to much that is before her time. She eyed the guards coming nearby as the first instinct she had was her taloned hand readying themselves as if to fight, the doll tied to her side with a dirtied and poor excuse for a rope. She looked like she was about to pounce before Zenshi stopped and ordered her stay put. Zenra would give him an awkward glance, relieving herself from a readied arrow. "Sadly, she's already seen so much, and had to do things she thinks is normal now... But I don't wish for her to have to see anymore, and that is the only reason I'm doing this." She would somewhat grumble at Zenshi, not really wishing to leave. It's both their mess to clean, and she isn't the best to always willingly take help; It's her stubborn nature. This was different though, and she instead looks down at Lythia hoping she's more distracted with her doll than anything else. She then lines up another shot. Upon release she felt a pain shoot up her wrist and gritted her teeth in reply Lythia even looking up to see what's wrong. She knew it wouldn't hit, but she tried. It's been some time since she used a bow, and it's definitely showing. She adjusting it back upon herself, not exactly feeling the most satisfied by her attacks. She would pick up the small Drow upon the ground, make sure she is secure and safe. Lythia was a little impatient, She didn't want to be held. She would squirm and whimper at her mother, even though it was clearly not the best of times. "I will do what is asked of me Zenshi, that is what loyalty is. I can't betray unless it is in the contract. I am to betray them." She says rather bluntly whether she felt it was normal or not. "We will discuss it upon the Fleet, for it's both of ours to bear, Got it?" She soon met his gaze, sighing as she turned to the approaching Malgus. "Come, Zenshi will handle it, but if we have any change of getting out, the majority must be out of the way." She nudges her head towards the bloodworks entrance. The iron sealed gates that locked them in and away from the sand. She searched for some sort of lever or switch that would allow them to proceed, she looked now to Malgus who she hoped followed nearby.
MrMurasaki: A shrill whistle echoed down the corridor to the remaining guards, their attention turned though still pressed on perusing the group. Zenshi walked out of the shadows, his hands in his girdle. "Hey, it's me you want not them. Look it is dark in here her Archery skills are Legendary, the Dwarf? He is armed to the teeth and fortified with something you could never crack. Look at me. " He lifted his hands out in front of them then down along his side. "No weapons except some tonics and elixirs." he clasped his hands together and bowed. "It is the healing way." The Guards looked to the group and then to Zenshi, one spoke up. "Whatta say boys? Let's show him back to his cell." They all laughed and advanced, Zenshis feet shot to his side as he crouched in his form. He tucked his elbows to his side and in an exhale pushed his arms out with his palms pushing forward. "Iron Ox, Stance. Body of Iron, strength of Ox." The Energy came together in his core and in an explosion fireworked to his entire body, half concentrated in his frontal core up his face and the divided half to his fists and feet. This stance was his hardest test, one he hasn't fully mastered. He charged forward as did the guards who swung at him, he would meet them with deflections of his Elementium bracers. A guard decided to get cocky and slashed Zenshi across the chest, it did not slice into him but the distraction it caused on his Focus allowed for a guard to kick him in his chest sending him into the wall, his exposed back smacking off it and taking the full impact. He fell to his face before them but managed to catch himself on his fingers and toes. He laid there a moment, realigning his energy half in his arms, half the legs. One guard went to swing and Zenshi launched in a spiral, his legs spinning and disarming the guards in one sweep, he landed and unleashed a fury of punches to the guard’s chest. Hard Steel met his bare knuckles but slowly it began to cave in with each punch, disarmed and disoriented by the flurry the guard could only take it. The other 2 had got their weapons and started advancing, one went to stab him. Zenshi say this in the corner of his vision and immediately stopping the flurry he grabbed the guard by the back and side and thrusted the dented armour directly into the blade, a dent located in front of the guard’s heart. "One." Zenshi spoke aloud. Pulling the blade from his fallen companion the guard advanced on anger and with a slash to the chest of Zenshi he fell back with his hand to it, his energy had been in his legs and arms the chains that bound him caused a resistance but he still bled. As stood there focusing, the majority in his core once more and the rest in his legs. He knelt to the ground focusing intently, his eyes closed just listening to the foot steps. "Two." he muttered before launching off his legs. He twisted and corkscrewed through the air feet first his coat circling around him making a loud flapping noise, what would be him coiled in the Shadows if he were melded. His spinning foot caught the first guard directly in the jaw shattering it on impact, he fell back into a crate smashing it laying there defeated. He landed with a bottle in his hand. "Care to be Three?" The guard yelled in anger charging after he attended to the fallen soldier "Three it is." Zenshi jump and spun then released the bottle that flew directly into the chest of the guard shattering on impact. Glass shrapnel flew but the real danger was the gas, Zenshi upon landing too his headband and covered it over his mouth and nose breathing through it. His White and Purple Drow eyes watched intently, he watched the writhing and screaming, he turned and walked towards the gates as he stood into eye shot of the outside Arena and anyone in it he went reeling forward as the final act of the poisoned guard was throwing his sword through the shoulder of Zenshi.--- "Only way through this then. EYaaah!" he bellowed out and with the last of his energy swung Nor'thzil into the doors blasting them open letting out a following cry of pain and exhaustion. Stumbling forward he was met by the large boulder like arms of Thelgen "We got the ones out here and Malgus, it is good te see ya." Thelgen looked over to Zenra. "Lass, are there any others? If so we will get our loved ones in safe hands to the ship and we will come back."
VampyrVixen: Lythia turned her face to the Mardunes with a small tilt, her hazel eyes staring them both down. "There's plenty of slaves in there..." She would say with a solemn tone, she eyed the Sky vessel that was nearby. "I'm not sure if you know them, nor do I... But they deserve as much freedom as we do." She soon looks to the small child that stares the two down with endless curiosity. "Lythia... it's not polite to stare." She pulls the child into her shoulder, the little Drow pouting in reply. "Hmph..." She huffed an exaggerated sigh, one that makes her mother almost break out laughing to. Zenra then meets his gaze. "Thank you for this." She nods her head in respect to Thelgen, "I know we must leave, but Zenshi is still in there."
MrMurasaki: As they approached the ladder Malgus looked to Zenra. "Thelgen can get the rest, you need to be up there with her. Do as you wish but I am getting to safety. Zenshi has a way of evading Death." He smiled to her as he weakly climbed the ladder. "Aye lass, I'll go back for my first mate. you two get on board. Her safety is more important than a brash Rogue." A warm smile on his pipe clenched face. It was then he saw the body of Zenshi hit the ground, he didn’t catch himself this time but laid on the ground sword raised high in his shoulder. "Lad, play to yer strengths..." he said was he rushed over to the fallen Zenshi. behind him the last remaining prisoners who were in the cells that Zenshi managed to open ran into the Arena and to the ladder. Not all but the lucky few would all run passed the fallen Zenshi, looking to him but not stopping.
: "Alright, well I wishing to get her to safety, her life's most important to me right now." She said dully, as if it should be obvious that that is what she was wishing to do. Lythia still pouting in her arms looked up over her mother's shoulder to see Zenshi fall upon the ground. She'd poke out her hand as she moves to see better. Her short bouncy locks going with her as she whacks Zenra unknowingly in the cheek with her long ear. "Uhmph." She uttered to the beings that came running out for they were saved. Zenra, grasping upon the rope, lightly touched her cheek and frowned with squinted eyes to her daughter. "Lythia, Please now isn't the time... What are you even looking at?" She would turn her gaze to multitude of people pouring out. Lythia pretended to hide, her light nose nestled into Zenra's shoulder. Her mother's silver eyes looked upon the fallen Zenshi with the want to help, but Thelgen made his way over to him. She knew she could help him more once they were both inside the ship with the ingredients she carried. She sighed as she thought of this, but Lythia was Priority. She soon found herself heading up into the ship. The small Drow looked over her shoulder as the prisoners and slaves started to get grabby with the ladder.
MrMurasaki: Thelgen grabbed the sword and ripped it out of him with a loud cry from Zenshi. His hand holding up a small vile. "Do it." Zenshi told him clenching his teeth. "Aye Lad." Thelgen took the Vile and poured it on the wound, it burned immensely seeming to boil his wound but it slowly began to heal. "Lad.. you..." Thelgen was cut off. "Thelgen, I am not coming with you... You must watch out for Zenra until I can see her again and little Lythiah..." It was Thelgens turn to cut him off. "Aye Lad, I know. We were here for Malgus and it was a blessed day to find ye and.. is she your Lass you spoke of?" If Zenshi could blush he would and shook his head. "She is my Princess, she is not mine. I will speak to her before I go I may need a shoulder." He laughed laying his hand on Thelgens shoulder. "Anytime Lad, it's a shame ye would have made a great Commander." with a smirk he replied. "I know my Captain but my course is somewhere else. I have too many oaths right now. I couldn't take on another." he wiped his hand across the silken ribbons of his hat. "I understand Lad, we'll take care of her." Zenshi lowered into the Shadows looking up over the gate. With a pat to Zenshi's shoulder from Thelgen he launched off and coiled through the shadows. Thelgen let out a bellow of his horn as he jumped and grabbed the ladder as the Ship started sailing forward and up away from the Arena. Thelgen climbed and brought up the Ladder and stood with Zenra, Lythia and Malgus as the Arena became smaller in sight.
VampyrVixen: As Zenra would make her was upon the metal deck of the ship, the little Drow would soon become fussy making whimpering noises to be put down. Zenra, as much as she doesn't wish to in this situation, would place the small child upon the deck. "You need to stay close, alright?" She would rough up Lythia's hair which the little one in reply would reach up to do the same. Zenra knelt down, eyeing her daughter. She soon would find herself cross legged neatly upon the deck, sitting as tall as her daughter. "You're trouble you know that?" She whispered to Lythia, which prompted a small giggle from her. Looked up to the Mardune that made himself known next to him, but Zenshi was nowhere in sight. Her white braid whipped around trying to look for him. "Where's Zenshi...?" She'd say with a worried tone.
MrMurasaki: Malgus looked to Thelgen as did the rest of them. With a heaved sigh and a tap to his pipe Thelgen spoke. "He stayed behind Lass. His motives are his own as much as it pains me te say. He did say to welcome ye as we do and pardon me." He bowed to her and Lythia. "Welcome aboard the Sky Wolf, you're Free now Lass. He also said he will be contacting you as soon as he can, I helped him with his wound. A special concoction of his, really helps with a wound." Malgus spoke up. "Zenra, if you please I would like you to follow me to the Captains Study." Thelgen nodded to them both once more. "Good te have ye here Lass, we will be home soon enough. I need te get to the helm. It was a pleasure meetin ya. Don't mind my Quartermaster, ye will find him in my Quarters." saying that Thelgen returned to the Helm. Malgus walked her towards the Study and went to open the door as he did he said. "The Quarter Master is soon to be a great Commander for Sky Fleet, he has earned his mettle and now may I introduce you to... Allaistair."
VampyrVixen: "Hm... Well thank you.. I would've helped myself but I saw you heading over to him. I had a few dried ingredients that could've helped him. But.. At least He's safe, right? So is this one, my starlight." She smiled to the little Drow before her, eye to eye. Lythia playfully fiddled with her clawed hands, a sweet curl of her lips. Zenra would reached her taloned fingers out and Lythia would immediately take it. Standing but one inch above Thelgen, she nodded to him. "Hopefully that will be soon. It's been some time since I saw him last. EIther way, I hope he may handle himself." She looks now as the ship fly away from the arena. Looking down to the box in which the throne like seats of Elle and the Emperor sat. She held her tongue from saying a thing, she was free now and looking much more modest in the leather that hugs her curves. She would respectfully take off her face mask as she continued to speak. "Of course, Come Lotha uss." She spoke in her native tongue to Lythia, who for some reason thought they were going on an adventure and so she bounced up and down ready to go as she soon walked. "I just hope he doesn't get himself killed. He was rather rash back there." She allowed a sigh to fall from her lips as they stood now in front of his study. As they entered the room, Allistair would be standing as if her were practicing his swordsmanship. His claymore raised, but the door clicked and he tried to scramble back into a more appropriate. However, the brassy skinned boy that towered over them all squinted his eyes. "Dalninuk, Dalninuk!" Lythia exclaimed, as she left her mother's grasp to come running to hug Allistair's metal encrusted leg. "Mom?" He said confused looked at Zenra. Zenra's face twisted with joy as she ran to embrace her child, showing mother and daughter seemed pretty alike. "You.. were in the Arena?" Allistair questioned with some worry in his voice. He brought a hand to his mother's head. She looked up to meet his emerald gaze. "Not anymore." She said calmly and she soon turned to Thelgen. "I don't think you realized what you've done for me..." Her silver eyes were glossed, but she was not crying just yet.
MrMurasaki: Malgus looked to her with a gentleness. "The bond of Family is most important Zenra, it is what binds us and motivates us. Thelgen, my son. born of my hands, my Pride and my Joy. I see you with them and I feel it deep within...." he trailed off raising his finger into the air before he walked over to a bookcase and scanned it with his finger. "Ah, yes." he took a large thick leather bound Tome. It was an array of Drow Symbols, black and purple painted leather, he scanned with his other hand and gripped another. Same build but the designs differ they were that of the Mardune, black and red painted this leather. He walked to the Table and dropped them one by one on it. Sending dust into the air and paper to move from the Breeze. "Zenra, Lythia and Allaistair. May I present the written works of I and a most dear friend, Asarath." He trailed off moment to let the name sink. "Before you the written tomes of the Drow." he pointed a hand to the Tome "And the Mardune." he pointed to the other.
VampyrVixen: Zenra peeled herself away from Allistair, walking over to Malgus. Allistair heavy boots soon came as did the curious small elf that didn't want to leg go of her brother's leg. She ran up, not really knowing or caring what the Mardune said, no. She tried to jump up and grasp upon the book as if it were a toy. Zenra looked over, giving her a not so subtle glare. "Don't touch that, I don't know where your hands have been." She sternly says, which makes the small one tense up. "Sorry... She's still learning." She giggles before turning back to him. "You knew my father, hm?... He must have wrote this under Mal'khar's control in Golgotha... He had many years to do it." Allistair squints to see what it is and all the details upon it. "Asarath was your father? The one who made this?" Allistair said dully, wanting some confirmation. "Yes... Before your father and I rose into the throne, He met his death due to sickness. He was a great man... I wished I would've had more time with him." Zenra would state solemnly.
MrMurasaki: Malgus head sank as if a part of him severed. "Mal'Khar is a great Darkness, a tortured being but untamed. He is dangerous and it breaks my heart to hear the fate of a beloved friend. He wrote me this Tome." he rested his hand on the Drow Tome. "It was a gift and I kept it dearly, when you can I insist you read it." He rested his hand on the Mardune book. "I wrote this, it was to be his gift. A humble thanks. I never knew of you Zenra, I can just see him within. within all of you the subtle things only the oldest and keenest of eyes could see. Before Mal'Khar tainted him just know he was a Noble man. I want you all to have these, we have plenty of the Mardune Tomes but this, this was the original and it belongs to your Family." he stacked them together and patted them.
: "Well Mal'khar should be dead. Mal'khar will be if I have another more to say about it." The young Drow would say calmly, but it's clear a solemn film would be upon her eyes. Something that was clear that this man, no, creature had done to her. She tried to block it out entirely. She didn't want to think about Mal'khar more than she had to in terms of memories. "I accept these graciously.. Thank you..." She would nod to Malgus politely. "Allistair, Take your sister please... Before she runs and gets herself in trouble." She said jokingly but He knew better than to simply take that as a joke and would caress his sister in his strong gauntleted arms. Zenra was happy for the gift to be given, but even she is unsure if she has come to terms with her father's death... She didn't want to think about it. "Why don't you show me around, hun?" She said tenderly to her son before she turned her body to face his. He simply nods to her. He knows better than to say no.
MrMurasaki: The lights seemed to dim and Malgus's gaze narrowed. "A moment if you will Zenra, wait here. Someone wishes to speak with you, come Allaistair and Lythia. Malgus motioned them outside and closed the door. The lights faded even more, in the silhouette of the Shadows a visage appeared to be moving through it. a Purple eye became visible in the shadows. "Zenra... I am sorry I couldn't say goodbye. We will meet again soon I assure you. This is taking much of my Focus and Energy so it must be brief, I will see you soon my Princess until then watch over little Lythia."
VampyrVixen: "Uhm... Alright..." She said awkwardly to the Maedune. "Don't put her down, I'll hold you responsible if she breaks something.' She snickers at Allistair with his sister in his grasp. He rolls his eyes to his mother as she makes her way out. She soon jumped as she saw the shadows moving, though the vision she saw was familiar. "Zenshi... What are you doing? You're crazy, you know that?" She says in a worried tone. "We better, I'm not letting you kill yourself you know. I'm not letting it happen. I was planning to mix up something once you got on the ship but...." Her plump lips frown at him, sighing gently. "I'll do what I tended to do still... I hope to see you then Zenzen. Lythia will stay beside me safely. I'm more worried about you. Please Stay safe."
MrMurasaki: "I will always be with you in the shadows my Princess, always. Save your Elixers, someone less fortunate than I will need them and you can touch their life as you did mine. I will have you at the top of my list but things must be attended to, until then. Forever my Princess..." Is his final words the shadowy figure with the Purple eye floated towards her and faded through her dispersing with a final word. "It will be soon..." Malgus opened the door after seeing the lights return. "come on Zenra, Allaistair will give you a quick tour, we are almost home." His head disappeared behind the door. The tour finished as the Ship docked. Malgus would make his way into the depths of the Labyrinth to bathe in the Dragon Forge to heal his broken body and left alone with his broken mind. Thelgen didn’t rest, now that his Father was returned home he helped the Crew to stock the Sky Wolf, more so than usual. The Prisoners rescued and freed, Thelgens eyes now fixated on the North and the Arrest of the Fallen Champion Draxis.
